Trip to Indiana: Chrstmas 2010

Since I last wrote it has been a crazy whirlwind for this Bennett Family.  So sorry this is just getting posted.  Brian was out sea to in early December and returned the day we left for Indiana.  He was supposed to return 2 days before we left, but the carrier was called back out as they were pulling in to the pier.  It was a rough few days.  He came home, we packed, and headed to Indiana for Christmas.  It was quite a trip.  Brian's grandfather passed and we made it home for his celebration of life which was a sad way to start our trip, but also nice because we got to see more of Brian's family then we thought we get to see.  I got to see my group of besties, all of them, for the first and probably last time in years.  Avery got a stomach bug, my eosinophilic enteritis started for flare up (even though I didn't know it yet), we had 5 or 6 Christmas' to go to, and got to show off Max to our families whom most had not met yet.  :)

Avery really got into Christmas this year and it was so much fun.  I told her we could give the reindeer some carrots and Santa some milk and cookies and she wanted to give the reindeer water too!  She is so sweet and caring (most of the time ;)).  When she woke up though she didn't seem to think Santa had come.  We had to show her the eaten cookies and extra presents under the tree.  Max did great on the car trip and letting everyone on under the sun holding him. :)  I have been blessed with such good babies.

Here is the story of our Christmas and our time in Indiana by pictures.  :)
